Our new kitchen and garage addition were recently completed by Kamrose Construction. Living in a small house with a tiny kitchen and no dining room made Holidays and family gatherings difficult, and it meant setting up a folding table in the living room or basement.
We knew that we wanted to finish our attached garage into a living space and add a new double garage, but couldn’t envision a floor plan to make it work. Kamrose designer, Christine, came up with a plan that absolutely floored us with its creative use of the space. The materials and layout she designed were stunning!
Christian and his crew excel at their craft. They are very good at innovative solutions to unforeseen problems that have a way of popping up during a project, and they have an eye for detail. James and Sam arrived ready to work, and had a clear vision of the tasks ahead.
Kay was flexible and worked with us to reduce our costs wherever possible, and everyone was very conscious and accommodating of our needs as we continued to live in the house during the construction.
Completing a major construction project during a pandemic proved to be challenging, but Kamrose met the challenge. Supply chain issues and scheduling delays, due to Covid, extended the time frame of the project, but the issues were overcome. At the end of the project, punch list items were at a minimum.
In the end, we love our beautiful new kitchen, laundry, and garage; and we recently celebrated our first family holiday gathering. It’s hard to imagine a better final product than what we have.
